Hello, I am Clara, an Italian language teacher living in Milan
My name is Clara Arosio and I am a teacher of Italian for foreigners.
I was born in Milan in 1981 and I have seen my city change, improve and become more beautiful and international over the years and I am very happy about that!
I have always loved traveling and dealing with other languages and cultures.
This is one of the reasons why I embarked on this career, which allows me to meet students from different parts of the world every day and introduce them to the Italian language and culture
I have a degree in contemporary Italian literature and later obtained Cedils certification (Certification in Teaching Italian to Foreigners).
I started teaching Italian to migrants as a volunteer during my last years of university, a really nice and rewarding experience! Since 2009 I have been working as a professional teacher for language schools and associations conducting group and individual courses for managers and employees of companies and international students.
Metodology
The structure of the course is always based on your starting level and your needs and goals. For example: do you need Italian for your daily life? To communicate in your work environment? For traveling?
The approach is mainly communicative but in the Italian language addressing grammar is also very important; therefore, in my opinion, both aspects should be addressed together. All this can also be done through readings, videos, songs, to learn effectively but also lightly!
